abstract

• Recent advances in robotics and assembly automation have suggested that it might be feasible to fabricate prototypes from assemblies of regular shapes for low cost manufacturing and visualization. This paper presents an automated assembly system to investigate the feasibility of this idea. ©2007 IEEE.
