abstract
This paper presents a multiple-input single-output HF-link inverter for renewable energy sources grid-Tied applications, commanded with a simple instantaneous power modulation scheme; the topology has no intermediate DC-link which reduces the number of power processing stages. Increased power density as flexibility of the system can be achieved by using a single HF transformer with multiple windings, the proposed modulation scheme is simple, and it can be implemented with low-computational effort in low-complexity devices, leading to lower cost of the system. Simulation and experimental results are presented for a 2-input open-loop system which validate the feasibility of the proposed scheme. © VDE VERLAG GMBH Berlin Offenbach.
