abstract
This work shows the study of surface modification of MWNTC%27s (multipled-walled carbon nanotubes) using acetic acid and aniline, assisted by ultrasound. The MWNTC%27s modified were characterized by FT-IR(ATR) spectroscopy, where we see the characteristic signs of carboxylic acids and amines. Another characterization was carried out measuring of the contact angle of unmodified and modified MWNTC%27s. We measured the turbidity of various solutions of MWNTC%27s modified in diverse solvents. Demonstrating the surface modification of the MWNTC%27s with acetic acid and aniline. And finally SEM images of the modifications made were obtained. ©2015 Universidad Simón Bolívar
