abstract
The modification of carbon nanotubes (CN's) has become very important because the CN's change opens a wide range of applications, in this study performs the modification of multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWCNT's) by ultrasound using an acid mixture of H 2SO 4 and HNO 3, characterizing by FT-IR (ATR) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM), the results enable us to know the surface modifications suffered by the MWCNT's, by employing mild conditions temperatures of 60°C by ultrasonic radiation and would enhance significantly the dispersion of the same.
