abstract
Kidney diseases are a significant global health issue, with increasing rates in Mexico. In San Luis Potosí, under-resourced public health services often outsource essential care. Hemodialysis Units are vital here. In 2012, the General Health Council established certification standards. This paper outlines IGSA Medical Unit San Luis Potosí’s 2021 certification process, including developing procedures, training staff, and creating certification tools. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG 2025.
