• Communication skills play a pivotal role in the professional activities of engineers. This article delineates activities designed to enhance communication skills of engineering students within the framework of a capstone project course. These activities foster the development of verbal and non-verbal communication skills for diverse audiences. Statistics from the last three years reveals satisfactory results in overall communication skill development, while highlighting a need for further enhancement in written communication abilities. © 2024 Latin American and Caribbean Consortium of Engineering Institutions.
