abstract

• In Latin America and the Caribbean, there is a tendency for more and more institutions to develop CRIS/RIM systems. According to the results of a diagnostic study conducted during the period 2021-2024 using an online survey and the case study method, the number of CRIS systems increased from 65 in May 2022 to 87 in May 2024, registering an overall increase of 33.84%25 in two years. This paper analyzes and describes 7 case studies of national CRIS systems and similar platforms, and the comparative results by country during the study period. © 2024 The Authors.
