Searches for the lepton number violating K%2b → π−μ%2be%2b decay and lepton flavour violating decays K%2b → π%2bμ−e%2b and π0 → μ−e%2b are reported, using NA62 data collected in 2017 and 2018. In the absence of a significant excess above the background in each channel, upper limits on the branching ratios are established at 90%25 confidence level: B(K%2b → π−μ%2be%2b) < 4.2 × 10−11, B(K%2b → π%2bμ−e%2b) < 6.6 × 10−11, and B(π0 → μ−e%2b) < 3.2 × 10−10 © Copyright owned by the author(s) under the terms of the Creative Commons
