In this work, the occurrence of synchronization in unidirectionally coupled multi-scroll oscillators is investigated. Two types of interconnections are analyzed namely, a traditional static coupling and a second order dynamic coupling, for different input-output combinations. In each case, the stability of the synchronous solution is investigated by using the Hurwitz stability test. The obtained results show that the dynamic coupling scheme has a better performance in the sense that: i) it can induce synchronization even in cases where the static coupling fails, ii) it enlarges the region where the synchronous solution is stable.
