abstract
The hydrodynamic interaction (HI) effects on the short time colloidal dynamics of hard-sphere-like particles confined between two parallel walls were measured by digital videomicroscopy. A two dimensional hydrodynamic function was used to describe the effects. It was found that colloidal dynamics for values of the function with unity static structure facor is determined by self diffusion.
