We present an overview of the calculation of one-loop corrections to baryon magnetic moments in large-Nc chiral perturbation theory, where Nc is the number of colors. Nonanalytic corrections of orders m 1/2 q and mq lnmq are explicitly included to relative order 1/N3 c in the 1/Nc expansion. Comparisons with other theoretical calculations and with experiment are carried out, leading to very good agreements. © 2010 American Institute of Physics.
