The chondrosarcomas are malignant neoplasms characterized by cartilaginous differentiation, mainly located intraosseously, and in large bones. Their incidence in head and neck is rare and even more so when it is periosteal or located in the jaw. A case of a malignant tumor producing chondroid matrix, periosteal, of high-grade, recurrent and localized in the jaw is presente. © 2017, Instituto de Investigaciones Clinicas. All rights reserved.
