For a class of skew product dynamical systems we show numerical evidence for generalized synchronization with either a smooth or a Holder continuous synchronization function (h). The Holder exponent of h is determined as a function of the coupling parameter and the smooth-Holder transition in parameter space is described. © 2003 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
