  • Entrepreneurship among must be an issue of interest especially as a result of the circumstances of the pandemic for COVID -19 that has been reported to have affected the economy and well-being of women and girls all over the world more than teir counterparts (GGGR, 2021) and particularly in many of developing countries such as México. México, despite of being one of the countries in the region with higher number entrepreneurial activities, the rate for failures in entrepreneurship in the first year is very high, especially for female enterprises. The present paper is a documentary work focused on analyzing the data reported by different studies and statistics from organizations that highlight characteristics of female entrepreneurship among Mexican and other Latin American women, so it can be used to study the figures and conditions of other female entrepreneurship contexts in America. This work aims to provide information that may serve as a reflection for the proposal of more detailed studies and projects that allow Mexican women to take part of entrepreneurship more successfully.
